The Buick Encore GX blends power and efficiency with its ECOTEC 1.3L Turbo engine. This engine comes mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission, which works to improve fuel efficiency by executing direct-gear transitions while offering smooth acceleration. However, a 9-speed automatic transmission is available.

In terms of the output, the ECOTEC 1.3L Turbo engine is capable of boasting 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. It even gets an EPA-estimated 29 city/32 highway MPG with FWD. AWD models get an EPA-estimated 26 city/29 highway MPG.

The Encore GX has a spacious cabin that’s built to seat five passengers comfortably over two rows. The first row includes 39.7 inches of headroom and 40.9 inches of legroom. The passengers in the rear get 38.1 inches of headroom and 36 inches of legroom.
