PERFORMANCE
GMC Sierra EV Denali

Electric vehicles (EVs) deliver an unforgettable experience. Long after you’ve hopped out of these electrified trucks, your heart will still be hammering in your chest, and you’ll be itching to enjoy that joyride all over again.

A Power Boost

Whether you intend to use the GMC or the Ford for work or for pleasure, it’s important to have a model with a powertrain that works—and works for you! If you desire hair-raising power that raises every performance bar, both trucks will deliver. Let’s explore their unimaginable power!

When Max Power mode is activated, the GMC Sierra EV Denali generates 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. The Ford F-150 Lightning, on the other hand, produces up to 580 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. You’ll experience instantaneous torque on either model; however, the GMC’s higher horsepower will boost acceleration even more.

Expert Maneuvering

You can customize your drive in either truck with their selectable drive mode systems! Let’s explore the GMC’s five drive modes first:

  • Standard
  • Tow/Haul
  • Off-Road
  • My Mode
  • Max Power

On the other hand, the Ford offers four drive modes: Normal, Sport, Tow Haul, and Off-Road. Only the Sierra EV Denali is available with a My Mode setting, which hands over the reins to the driver so they can experience a fully customized drive.

The Sierra EV Denali has a GMC-exclusive feature called 4-Wheel Steer with CrabWalk. At low speeds, this feature turns the rear wheels in unison and at the same angle as the front wheels, allowing diagonal movement! Overall, this system improves handling and stability during lane changes and tight-turning situations.

INTERIOR
GMC Sierra EV Denali

As you’re experiencing the future of driving, you’ll enjoy a seat in the lap of luxury. Both the GMC Sierra EV Denali and the Ford F-150 Lightning prioritize your comfort by installing advanced technology within their cabins.

Convenience at Every Curve

EVs are meant for the long haul. Their electrified powertrains help drivers experience uninterrupted miles from Point A to Point B. In come Super Cruise on the Sierra EV Denali and Ford BlueCruise on the F-150 Lightning that let you experience hands-free driving and automatic lane changes on compatible roads. Talk about taking the edge off!

As you watch your electric truck work for you, you and your passengers can enjoy some natural light or a star-studded sky via the GMC’s standard panoramic fixed glass roof. A twin-panel moonroof is available on the Ford.

Crystal-Clear Entertainment

Serving as your entertainment hub in the Sierra EV Denali is a 16.8-inch portrait-style center touchscreen that works similarly to your smartphone or tablet. Plus, it has a free-form style, meaning you can customize your viewing experience to what you need to see in the moment!

The Ford offers generous center displays as well. Its standard screen measures 12 inches, while its available display is 15.5 inches. Although these figures are impressive, the GMC’s larger screen will be even easier on the eyes.

DESIGN
GMC Sierra EV Denali

The GMC and the Ford satisfy both function and form! Their design schemes were optimized to enhance space and storage, making it even easier to complete work tasks or fun DIY projects.

Shut the Frunk Door!

Since the GMC and the Ford swap out their engines for a powerful battery, there’s plenty of room under the hood. Both trucks optimize this space for storage! The GMC’s eTrunk™ and the Ford’s Mega Power Frunk add over 10 cubic feet of cargo space for med kits, bungee cords, groceries, snacks, and more!

The best part? These compartments are lockable and weatherproof, meaning they can function as an ice chest at the next football tailgate, a convenient space for muddy and wet hiking boots, or a sand-proof spot for beach gear.

Customizable Cargo Space

Both trucks have a spacious cargo bed that can hold a 5th-wheel hitch, camping supplies, or moving boxes. However, the GMC Sierra EV Denali can hold even more thanks to its MultiPro™ Tailgate and available MultiPro Midgate™. Both features work in tandem to maximize storage capacity.

The MultiPro Midgate™ allows the rear seats to fold into the floor and the back glass windows to be removed. This adds nine feet of storage between the cab and the tailgate. Plus, when the tailgate load-stop function is being used, the maximum load floor length increases to 11 feet! This increased space leaves room for a kayak, long fishing poles, wood planks, and more!

The Ford F-150 Lightning is available with a power tailgate; however, its tailgate and midgate cannot be altered like the GMC’s.
