Eleven Fifty Academy

Eleven Fifty Academy is a coding academy that’s dedicated to making a difference in the technology industry. To do this, it strives to provide an alternate route to help individuals beginning their careers, those looking to switch careers, and entire communities bridge the technology skills gap.

Eleven Fifty Academy takes pride in being more interested in people than in profit. As a result, the program that Eleven Fifty Academy offers is designed to be useful training for life. From Introduction to Coding and Fundamentals 101 to JavaScript Bootcamp, the overall goal is to provide life skills training that will help students discover new strengths as well as build on existing ones.

While teaching new skills with regard to the coding world and beginning the journey into the tech world as a whole, the overall philosophy at Eleven Fifty Academy revolves around the discovery of purpose and development of values and teaching as a whole and not just focusing on specific subject matter.

Good Samaritan Network

Good Samaritan Network teams up with a number of non-profit organizations in the Hamilton County area to do the most good for others through two distinct approaches. These approaches are embodied by Good Samaritan Network’s Direct and InDirect services.

On the Direct side of things, the Good Samaritan Network provides a good or service directly to people in need in order to fill that need. An example of this is the Recycled Cycles program. In this program, used bicycles are collected, brought to local repair shops, repaired, and distributed to individuals who would otherwise not have the means to afford one. These bikes are brought to children, youths, and adults in the Hamilton area.

With InDirect Services, Good Samaritan Network provides support to organizations that serve the needs of Hamilton County residents who are at-risk or underserved. An example of these InDirect services is Good Samaritan’s financial sponsorship of the BABE Store. The BABE Store is a company that depends on the community for support to provide new and gently used baby clothing and other essential baby products such as baby bottles, maternity clothing, bedding, and baby wipes.
